Uwchlan Ambulance Corps (UAC) is looking to add experienced EMTs, AEMTs, and Paramedics to our part-time staff in Chester County, PA. With UAC you’ll notice high expectations for clinical quality and patient care. As you may have guessed, being a provider for UAC is more than just being capable of performing the mechanical skills of EMS, it’s providing the very best in patient care, education, and community service.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 21 years of age
- At least 1 year as an active pre-hospital provider at your current level of certification.
- Current certification in Pennsylvania as an EMT, AEMT or Paramedic / PHRN with EMSVO credential.
- Current certification in CPR for the Professional
- Current ACLS & PALS for advanced providers.
- A valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- ICS 100, 200, 700 and 800
- Hazardous Materials Awareness
- Must be able to work weekends
- Must be professional, outgoing and a hard worker
Preferred Qualifications:
- ITLS or PHTLS, PEPP, GEMS certifications.
- EMS, ASHI, AHA, ITLS and/or NAEMT Instructor Certifications.
- A Pennsylvania DOH approved EVOC course within the past 3 years preferred.
Successful applicants will be required to pass an oral interview, written, practical, and documentation testing; as well as necessary background and ChildLine clearances. Successful applicants will also be required to pass a physical, physical agility testing, and drug screening.
