Uwchlan Ambulance Corps offers various certifications the American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI) that are perfect for teachers and childcare providers, coaches and athletic trainers, construction workers, scout leaders, volunteers, and many others. There are typically two options for most of our courses with no difference in cost:
BLENDED COURSES: Flexible learning anywhere, anytime! Blended courses allow you to complete the didactic-portion of a course on-line and at your own pace. Upon completion of that portion of the course, a skills session is scheduled at your convenience. If your group is interested in this option, we can schedule a skills-day at your location or ours, and the group can complete the online course by a pre-determined deadline prior to the skills-day.
IN-PERSON COURSES: Uwchlan Ambulance offers a variety of in-person training opportunities in accordance with the latest PA Department of Health COVID-19 guidelines. In-person, classroom-based courses are conducted entirely in either our classroom or at your business’ off-site location (space restrictions do apply) and include both didactic-lecturing and skills practice, when indicated. We can create a class with a minimum of 4 students at our location or 5 students at your location.
If you are looking for us to host sessions at your location (5-person minimum), no additional costs are charged if you are within our service-area. If you are over 30 minutes away, a travel-fee may apply.
