Uwchlan Ambulance offers a variety of in-person training opportunities in accordance with the latest PA Department of Health COVID-19 guidelines. In-person, classroom-based courses are conducted entirely in either our classroom or at your business’ off-site location (space restrictions do apply) and include both lectures and skills practice, when indicated.
Flexible learning anywhere, anytime! Blended courses allow students to complete the didactic-portion of a course on-line and at their own pace. Upon completion of that portion of the course, a skills session would be scheduled to allow students an opportunity to practice during simulated clinical scenarios. We work to schedule this at your convenience!
For students who have purchased a blended course online from AHA and are looking to only complete the skills stations, we have an option for you! You can arrange with our training department to complete the skills-only portion of the courses. You choose a mutually-agreeable date, and we submit your final paperwork to AHA for approval once skills are completed.
These free in-person, classroom-based courses are sponsored by West Pharmaceuticals and include options for CPR/AED as well as First Aid. UAC hosts one of these free courses per month, and classes are limited to 30 students per class. Please note that each class is four hours in length. You need to be here for the entire duration.
