UAC will be hosting a Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course on Thursday March 2, 2017, 9 am.
This course is for advanced healthcare providers who take care of, or have the potential of taking care of, seriously ill or injured children. This updated curriculum reflects the new science published in the 2015 AHA Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC. Our classroom based, instructor-led course uses a series of videos and simulated pediatric emergencies to reinforce the important concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric assessment, basic life support, PALS treatment algorithms, effective resuscitation, and team dynamics.
UAC believes that classroom based courses work best for those in the healthcare setting because it best simulates real life interactions between patients and providers, and between providers! This course includes realistic, clinical scenario stations that encourage active participation, discussion, and questions in a non-threatening environment that fosters the adult learner.
Don’t miss out on this fun and interactive course! Reserve your seat today!
