| On Sunday, September 20, the annual Marshman Triathlon will be taking place in Marsh Creek State Park and surrounding roads. The triathlon consists of a swim, bike race, and a 5k run. The swim and the run are entirely within Marsh Creek State Park, the bike race takes place on the public roads. The bike race, which is about 12.5 miles long, loops around the park, and uses Park Road, Moore Road, Dorlans Mill Road, Creek Road/Rt. 282, Marshall Road, and Little Conestoga Road. Bicycles can be expected on these roads from around 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM.
Please use caution around the bicycles, and pass with care. It’s a very brief time they will be using the road, and we want to help keep everyone safe. If you’re able, please consider coming out and cheering on the racers! |
