Hello!
Are you looking to expand your career in the EMS field? Are you interested in teaching the providers of tomorrow?
Uwchlan Ambulance Corps is pleased to be hosting Dr. Binns this December for an EMS Instructor Methodology Course!
This course will give current providers the skills they need in order to become effective EMS Instructors. You will learn about the adult learner, how to deal with trouble students, how to adapt your teaching to different learning methods, how to use a variety of media, and how to evaluate your students. Students who develop these skills have the opportunity to be a leader and mentor for many providers to come.
Dr. Binns has over 45 years of experience in Emergency Services, to include EMS, Fire, Rescue, Emergency Management and Tele-Communications. He was the Incident Commander/Leader for the initial PA EMS Strike Team Deployments to Hurricanes Katrina and Gustov. We are very pleased to have him join us for this class.
