Uwchlan Ambulance Corps will be hosting an Emergency Vehicle Operators Course (EVOC) at the Chester County Public Safety Training Campus in South Coatesville on Friday August 12 and Saturday August 13!
Driving an emergency vehicle is a position of responsibility. During this course, participants will become familiar with the safety requirements and skills necessary to drive an emergency vehicle.
This course is a must have for anyone wanting to drive an emergency vehicle, and is a requirement for obtaining the state EMSVO credential! EMS con-ed has been applied for.
Class runs from 6-10 pm on Friday August 12 and will be by group appointment (2 hour windows) on Saturday August 13, between 9 am – 5 pm. Class costs $100 and includes your textbook.
Please note that participants must be 18 years of age on the first day of class, possess a valid driver’s license and must have a sponsoring organization willing to provide a vehicle for the driving portion of the course on Saturday morning.
